Ángel Ulerio is a celebrated concert pianist, dedicated educator, and the founder and director of Mamaroneck Music Academy. As a pianist, Mr. Ulerio has performed in many of New York City's most esteemed concert venues, including Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and Town Hall. As a soloist, he has frequently collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra of Santo Domingo, the Philanthropic Orchestra of NY, and the Brooklyn College Orchestra.
Mr. Ulerio completed his formal studies at the Manhattan School of Music, where he trained under renowned pedagogues Nina Svetlanova and Solomon Mikowsky, and at the Brooklyn College Conservatory with distinguished pianist Agustin Anievas, earning first prize in the Brooklyn College Concerto Competition. In his native Dominican Republic, he studied at the National Music Conservatory.
As an educator, Mr. Ulerio has enriched his teaching with participation in numerous seminars on piano technique and pedagogy in both the United States and Europe. He has received multiple scholarships to attend renowned music festivals in Santander and Santiago de Compostela. In addition to directing Mamaroneck Music Academy, he serves as the piano accompanist for the Mamaroneck School District and the Mamaroneck Community Choir.
